BABBA KIDS SHOWS A SMASH HIT!
Well what a blast the kids shows were! Thanks to all the kids and Mums and Dads for making them such a success. The children brought such great energy and excitement it was a real pleasure for us. We will be doing more children’s shows in the term 1 school holidays next year.
What a great night it was at the at ‘The Palms’ - Crown when many tribute acts got together for the Bushfire appeal ‘The Ultimate tribute’. It was a pleasure to be involved in such a worthy cause.
Babba performed at the premier of MAMMA MIA! the movie at Village cinema’s. It was a great audience and a very special night to be part of.
Aww so cute! We performed at a fundraiser for the Lort Smith Animal Hospital.
Babba was invited to help commemorate the 20th anniversary of ‘Twilight’ concerts at the Melbourne Zoo. We sang a few songs, cut the cake and got to pat the elephant! Photos were taken with the tree kangaroos, giraffes, koalas and elephants to promote the upcoming 2009 ‘Twilight’ concerts.
Babba’s Zoo concerts are on the 31st of January and the 14th March 2009.
In February, Babba performed at the opening of the new IKEA store in Perth.
What better environment to perform in than being surrounded by unpronounceable Swedish furniture! Benny picked up a Fyordlover and Bjorn couldn’t believe the price of his Skruvsta!

Spectators at the Melbourne Zoo Twilights turned wild as they were rocked by Bjorn. (The rest of the band were no match for Bjorn, even with his artificial hip. -Another IKEA bargain...the Hipledikdroop). Babba were the only act to sell out at the Zoo Twilight shows this year! (4000 capacity).
Babba always feel at home and have a great time at the Zoo.
